I realize I have been out of touch and with regards to my Etsy shop – I continue to take baby steps. Just to share a few updates:
Maddie and Marry is alive and well!
Since my last year, we have registered our domain and now the website is up and running. We have samples of various designs pictured there, but many more shown on our Flickr account. And with regards to my last post, we are now selling designs in the Zazzle marketplace.
We’ve been blessed to work with wonderful clients and complete some really fun projects. It has been a pleasure to design invitations for many weddings, birthdays, holidays and other celebrations. We look forward to the second half of the year and creating beautiful graphics for some fall weddings, a Halloween costume party and birth announcements for new babies.
I hope to have items for sale in our Etsy shop within the month. We will be offering printing services for custom invitations as well as printable/DIY designs. Stay tuned for our exciting offering!
Thank you again for those who have referred us!! Word of mouth has been the best marketing tool for us! We love taking on new clients and even better when they keep coming back.
I’m going to do my best to keep the blog updated with new information.
It has been quite a year for me! I started blogging after loosing my job and deciding to start my own little business from home. There have been many ups and downs. It feels like there were obstacles around every corner. But it feels good to finally have everything coming together.
I welcome the new year with open arms. Cheers to a happy and healthy 2012! Thanks so much for following my rants and ideas. I really appreciate all the support and encouragement.
Stay tuned for my Etsy shop Grand Opening and lots of blogging. There’s a lot to look forward to…
The weather isn’t the only sign that Christmas is coming. Winter is right around the corner and stores have started decorating for the holidays. And the biggest cue is that christmas music has started.
Part of me will miss working in retail and listening to all the traditional holiday jingles… and yet mostly I’m glad the songs won’t get stuck in my head.
Hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying Fall. Maybe we won’t have too much snow and freezing temps any time soon.
My hubby and I are flying south (well driving) south this weekend… to hopefully warmer weather and to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday. That’s right— she’s old! It’s a milestone and needs to be honored. I can’t wait to see them!
I feel like the craziness in life is never ending. Sometimes I wish it was something that could be switched off… or maybe take a time out to deal with the crazy before returning to normal life.
You know when you get a song stuck in your head… well that happens to me a lot. And mostly it’s just one phrase over and over again.
I had this great idea to take the pesky lyrics and design a poster around them… but someone else beat me to the punch.
Etsy has some some great finds and that includes graphic designers that I envy.
Check it out and maybe find your favorite quotation or song illustrated and inspirational.
Getting ready for Halloween! No bones about it! haha
So I missed doing this yesterday– so I wanted to catch up.
Wednesday is considered hump day and we are passed the middle of the week. It’s almost Friday and the weekend and October will be here before you know it.
October is one of my favorite months and I’m very excited. Can’t wait for all the great fall festivities!
