My Life List

It’s not exactly a “Bucket List”… but more like my guide/goals to achieve the best in life.

If you haven’t heard about the bucket list, it is a list of all the goals you want to achieve, dreams you want to fulfill and life-experiences you desire to experience before you die.

Megan’s musings:

become a believer
be the next martha stewart
uncover life’s secrets
never be anxious again
fall in love √
go to bed content every night
travel as much as possible
learn another language(s)
get married √
maintain the important relationships and forget the ones that don’t matter
own a home √
be a good mom and make a happy home
become a volunteer and give back as much as possible
learn to bake like a pro
never forget how to play the piano
see some really great concerts and broadway shows
swim with dolphins
shoot a gun
see the grand canyon
see the mona lisa
drive on the audobon
visit all 50 states
visit all 7 continents
perfect my cursive/calligraphy
tour the white house
watch all of AFI’s top 100 movies
own a beach house
start my own business
sell my original artwork
learn web-design and create a well designed website
research my family history/ancestry/trace my roots
see penguins in their natural habitat
go on a safari
attend a movie premiere
learn to live in the now
pursue my passion
attend major sporting events like world cup, super bowl, world series, olympics, wimbledon, etc.
see the rose bowl parade in person
try new foods
achieve my ideal weight
make a difference in someone’s life
fly in a hot-air balloon
experience a full sunset
experience a full sunrise
see the northern lights
get a complete makeover– change my hairstyle
go on a real road trip
have a real picnic
celebrate anniversaries
learn sign language
be happy every day
 
That’s all for now… I’m sure I’ll add and subtract– there will even be some that will never occur. But for the most part I hope to achieve most of these life goals.
 
I hope this inspires you to create a similar list– whatever you want to call it = bucket list, barefoot list, life list…
 

Writing a list of things you want to do is a way to really examine your life. Once you compile your list, remember that the list will change. You can add to the list or you can change your mind and subtract things. Best of all, you can check things off your list when completed! And who doesn’t like crossing things off a to-do-list!!!!
