Happily Ever After

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess who found and fell in love with a handsome prince…

The princess in this case was a bride, but more importantly a friend who deserved the best.

The bridal shower for my friend Sam was held this past Sunday. Everything turned out great. And most important- she was truly surprised and really enjoyed herself.

Sam and her fiance got engaged in Disneyworld and she loves that kind of stuff. So naturally we wanted the theme for the shower to reflect that. We wanted it to be a princess shower without being too juvenile… And I think we were successful in throwing a sweet and whimsical event.

A princess theme obviously works for a birthday party or even something for kids or babies but it was a little harder to make it work for a bridal shower. It’s all in the details.

I loved helping to plan this event and I’m pleased with the way it turned out. I love planning events not just for myself but for others. I guess if the whole stationery and design thing doesn’t hit it big– I can always do event planning!

I want to share some images from the actaul shower and also the inspiration where some of our ideas came from.
